Leaf Energy’s major collaborative partner is the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
INPACT, Leaf Energy's core technology, was specifically developed by a QUT research team led by Leaf Energy’s CSO- Professor James Dale. The cutting edge technology increases the expression and yield of novel proteins in selected plants through an exquisite and innovative approach to the control of gene switching and amplification of gene expression.
Our company continues to draw on the technical expertise of not only our CSO, but the team of QUT biotechnologists who were involved in the initial development of Leaf Energy’s INPACT technology. This is achieved through an outsourcing arrangement with QUT which commenced in 2001 and continues on today.
