Syngenta Centre

    In 2008 Leaf Energy via its subsidiary Farmacule BioIndustries Pty Ltd  entered into a partnership with Syngenta, the world’s largest agribusiness company, the Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) qutbluebox and the Queensland State Government, to establish the Syngenta Centre for Sugarcane Biofuel Development.

    The research project aims to develop and commercialise cellulosic ethanol based biofuel products derived from sugarcane biomass using a range of Leaf Energy technologies, primarily its ‘In-Plant Activation Technology’ (INPACT).
