The business of Leaf Energy is managed under the direction of the Board of Directors, comprised of one executive and three non-executive directors. The collective group has extensive experience in technology commercialisation, intellectual property protection, capital raisings, government relations and financial management; taking a strategic and hands-on approach to managing Leaf Energy and the development and commercialisation of its core technology.
The Board is responsible for the overall performance of the business and determining the strategic direction of the Company which is focused on delivering value to shareholders. It is also responsible for operating the Company in continuous compliance with all laws and rules which apply to it including the ASX Listing Rules, international legal requirements and industry codes of conduct.

Dr. Mel Bridges

Mel has worked in the Pharmaceutical, Medical and Biotech industries for over thirty years. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Mel has founded and successfully managed a number of successful diagnostics, biotech and medical device businesses, including ASX listed PANBIO.
Mel is currently Chairman of a number of listed and unlisted companies including, Peptech Limited, one of Australia's largest listed biotech companies, ASX listed drug development company, Alchemia Limited, and Genetic Solutions and Toxitech. Mel is also the founder and non-executive director of the medical device group, ImpediMed.
Ken Richards

Mr Richards has in excess of 25 years experience as a Managing Director in various listed and unlisted companies across a range of industries and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Western Australia. He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Charles Wilson

Having originally qualified in Civil Engineering (University of New Zealand), Mr. Wilson has had some 40 years experience in senior project and construction management roles primarily associated with major building and development projects. During his career with major Australian listed construction/ development companies, he was based in Canberra, Townsville, Darwin, Sydney and since 1974 Perth, Western Australia.
Dr. Jay Hetzel

Dr Hetzel has more than thirty years experience in Genetics R&D and agbiotechnology commercialisation. He worked as a researcher in CSIRO for two decades and played a key role in establishing the foundations for beef industry applications of DNA technology. In 1998 he co-founded Genetic Solutions which became a world leading veterinary biotechnology company and in which he served in various Board and executive positions. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and is currently a non executive Director of Beef CRC Ltd.
Stephen Denaro

Founder of Trio Business Intermediaries, Steve has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, accountancy and income tax compliance services, and Board corporate governance. Such experience has been gained from positions as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of various public companies and major chartered accountancy firms in Australia and the United Kingdom. Steve is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
